    Located at 20386 Kennedy Rd. in the town of Caledon the stone Rosehill Schoolhouse was built in 1872. The property was designated under the Ontario Heritage Act in 1990.The old schoolhouse was part of the early Ontario school system in 1872 but was closed in 1964 after the Ontario school board centralized schooling. A row of maple trees planted for Queen Victoria’s Jubilee in 1897 marks the southern boundary of the schoolhouse property.
