The Pine River Provincial Fishing Area in Kilgorie, Mulmur was a joint effort to restock the river and clean up the park. In 2018, the Friends of Pine River convinced the Ministry of Natural resources and Forestry to restock the river with 10,000 Speckled Brook Trout. The river hadn’t been stocked in 26 years.
